I won’t be pouring this week-end, gang, sorry for your trip for nothing… but let me make this toast as long as you’re here.
Here’s to you and yours for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, cheers {Clink!} and I’ll see you next week-end.
Your Friendly Bartender
Happy holiday Scrib. Gobble gobble:)
Cheers, my friend! If you are available on Thanksgiving in the evening after dinner, let’s meet for a cocktail!
jc: You too, my friend, gobble, gobble!!
Comradde: Sounds like a concept. If I’m able to move after feasting I’ll call you guys.
A very happy Thanksgiving to you as well, bro! Looks like we may even have good football this time around! Hopefully the Ravens will lose yet again and again (today, and in the Harbaugh bowl on Turkey day)….can’t believe that they have lost to the Titans and the Seahawks, leaving the (albeit slim) chance that the Steelers could win that division despite having lost the season sweep to B’more….
Anonymoustache: I’m with ya’, man, but I’m curious to see which Ravens team shows up today. As you say, they stink against the bad teams and excel against the good teams, i.e. the Steelers, and it’s not really clear who they’re playing today. Does the Bengals winning record reflect a soft schedule as many are saying or are they a good team? Based on how they played us last week I’d say the latter. So….
But keep the faith, Bro!
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving, Scribbler! Cheers!
blue girl: And the very same to you, my friend, have a great one!
And thanks.
Happy, happy T Day, Scrib. You are a joy to the world. (and yeah, I know… wrong holiday!)
Brenda Cullerton: Hey, wrong holiday or not I’ll take it!
Have a great T Day as well, Brenda, and my best to R. and the young ‘uns.
Thanks for your giving…better rest now, with GB coming to town in a few weeks, you may need this bye week.
Slante
Irish: Don’t know what you’re talking about, Green Bay is not on our schedule.
Slante
I know…but they are coming to the town you work in….they keep bartenders busy, in a good way.
Happy Tryptophan I mean Thanksgiving!
Although “they” now say there’s not enough tryptophan in turkey to result in the post meal nap attacks that occur every Thanksgiving… oh really, “they” (if conscious) can get back to me Thursday evening if “they” can move off the couch!
Seriously Cyber clink to you if our paths don’t cross Scrib!
Have a happy and a healthy one!
Patsy: So that’s what they call that stuff, huh? “Tryptophan”. Well since I’m going to a restaurant to celebrate this year, I may just avoid the drowse and order a steak.
Nah!
(cyber clink back at ya’.)
Happy Thanksgiving my friend. Hopefully it is a good one.
Chris: It will be, and you too.
